Research In Motion, who recently launched Native SDK for the newly renamed BlackBerry 10 platform, announced that the next step to naturally follow this release is launching an enterprise app store for PlayBook tablet device. According to company’s co-CEO, Mike Lazaridis, the latter will be an especially attractive proposition to developers. Apps developed using the Native SDK will be supported by future BlackBerry 10 smartphones. So far a number of publishers, among which Gameloft and EA, have submitted more than 100 games to App World.
The company announced there are approximately 5 million downloads of 50,000 apps on RIM’s platforms through App World.
