Mobile Streams launches new partnership program for app developers

Aug 9, 2011

Mobile Streams, the owner of the Appitalism.com app store, announced the launch of a new global app distribution program, called Appitalism Wings. It is a cross-platform initiative, enabling app developers to realize additional revenues for any of the mobile platforms or apps they support including Android, BlackBerry, Java, Symbian and Windows Mobile. Appitalism Wings can help app developers from all around the world to maximize their return on investment by making their apps easily available through additional distribution channels that specifically apply to their content without the need to sign or spend time on multiple integrations and agreements.

In addition to offering app developers distribution on Appitalism.com in more than 50 countries worldwide, developers can select additional distribution channels for their apps, including Appitalism distribution partners such as Qualcomm, Infosys, Huawei, Hip Digital Media and Westcoast, plus the world’s largest mobile network operators as well as Mobile Streams’ own global distribution network across Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

"Appitalism Wings gives app developers quick and easy access to a potential new audience of hundreds of millions of customers that goes beyond simplifying submitting their apps to the official app stores for particular devices. Developers are able to use as many or as few of our connections as they’d like and all it takes to get started is a single sign up and submission process" - said Simon Buckingham, CEO of Mobile Streams and Appitalism.
